 “absolutely no problems …” 2010-07-08
By nxner
I trimmed up two large sweet gum trees (up to 6″ diameter branches). saw worked like a hot knife through butter. added lock washer to blade alignment stub to prevent issues as others noted. I also added a link on the pull-rope so it can be removed when sawing (it tended to get in the way). locking mechanism works fine at all lengths on mine.

I am very pleased wih this purchase & recommend it.

“Corona Clipper TP 6870 Tree Pruner” 2010-07-04
By martychgo (Dallas, TX)
One of the first things I did (noting that some fasteners were not tight), was to install lock washers under each and every removable nut to promote stability and preclude the loss of any of the fasteners. The tree pruner appeared to be well constructed and proved itself in two different weekends of significant tree pruning. The Corona tree pruner was stable and solid whether extended or not. It was very effective and comfortable and, proved itself in heavy use so far. Hopefully, the Corona’s stability and effectiveness will continue to demonstrate itself in future use.

“Rubbish… took it back after 2 hours of use.” 2010-05-03
By Ivan Thomson
This is one of the worst saw tools I’ve ever used to trim trees with. Enough said. Total rubbish product. Took mine back after one attempt at trimming. Definitely not worth the money.

 “Corona pole saw” 2010-02-01
By M. Ceglarski Sherwin
Very nice pole saw. Works well. Only one problem I can say anything about is the nut that holds the part for attaching the saw will come loose. I have this saw at work and one for home use. Only the one at work had the nut fall off. I will be keeping an eye on the one I have at home. I do landscape maintenance and tree work.
